As of July 27, 2020

August 12th, 2020 will mark the start of our Fall Season at FWUFC.  Please be aware of the club's NEW COVID return to play protocol. These protocal's has been guided by prioritizing the well-being of all of our players, staff, parents and loved ones.

Below you will find updated requirements for:

  • Self testing guidelines for any player, coaches and spectators.
  • Coaches Protocols for training and games
  • Spectator Protocols of training and game
  • Players Protocols of training and games
  • Referee Protocols for games
  • USYS positive identification guidelines

Each member should abide by the required guidelines found in the return to play protocol. Everything set forth is in line with standards set by Indiana Soccer Association, local health professionals, infectious disease specialists and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Until further notice, these guidelines must be practiced in order for the soccer activities to be considered “sanctioned”. Note – only sanctioned activities provide member benefits, i.e. insurance etc.

We understand that this may not be an easy transition, but we urge all FWUFC members to work together to execute these best practices to insure the safety of all involved as we take steps to return to normal soccer play.

On June 1st, Fort Wayne United FC began a phased return to play. Throughout this entire unprecedented situation, our decision-making process has been guided by prioritizing the well-being of all of our players, staff, parents and loved ones. This will not change as we resume activities. There is a new normal, however, and adjustments to how we train and coach will need to be made.  We thank you for your continued patience, understanding and cooperation as we go down this road together.

Below you will find the club’s current Return to Play Protocol. PLEASE NOTE: We have adjusted the training schedule slightly from what we originally promoted due to conflicts with our tryout schedules, coaching and field availability. Most importantly, we must maintain guidelines by state and local public health authorities.

All of us at Fort Wayne United FC  are excited to have the opportunity to work with your children again. We will do everything possible to make their experiences positive, to give them hope and encouragement that once again WE ARE UNITED!

Below are a couple videos from our friends at Real Salt Lake AZ and Phoenix Rising Youth Soccer. These videos will give you a similar idea of what you should do and what you can expect when coming to training.
